A Bird on the Bus

When I get home I always tell Harvey if I have had a dog on the bus,silly I know but.. Today after leaving a stop in Batheaston I noticed a squeaking, it seemed to be only when I turned. As I went along I wondered if I had hit a bird and it was stuck in the grill at the front. When I arrived at Bathford I got out have a look. The noise had got louder and appeared to be coming from the saloon. Turns out it was a Budgie who was on his way to the vet!! Wonder what breakdown would have said if I called them out??

Think Bike

Ok, here I am back at the RUH. Fortunately this time I have been able to walk in. The reason is that on the way to work this morning some bright spark failed to look before he pulled out of a side turning. I did see him and had stopped but could do nothing to prevent the inevitable. All I could do is watch as the vehicle came at me and tried to go through me! Result is a painful shoulder and back. Hopefully I will get  out of here before midnight.
