Web Cam

I have managed to get the web cam to work again but still have the problem with Dynamic Address. I have signed up to a DNS provider but as yet have not set it up. That means there may be times when the web cam link will return a 'website not found' report.

If Jesus was a Bus Driver

Christians always try to act like Jesus. However, most fall very short of this and many spend time beating themselves up for this completely forgetting that they are indeed human. We can though try and act in a way that others see something in us that they want. So back to the title. What would it be like to have Jesus driving the bus?
  • He would be able to turn £10 and £20 note instantly to £1 coins.
  • He would heal those that have mobility problems enabling them to board the bus in less time that the total journey.
  • He could speak to all the passengers without prejudging them.
  • He would be able to tell passengers the time of every bus and the streets they pass.
  • He would be able to know what every road user was about to do preventing the need for evasive action.
This sounds a little comical but given that Jesus spent much of his live as a craftsman completely unknown as the Son of God he may well at this moment be in the driving school ready to take his test.

Mobile Phones and Driving

Despite the the risk of a large fine etc I am still amazed that many people still use their mobile phones while driving. Over the last couple of days I have seen a few including a  lady with children in the car so engrossed in her conversation she has gone straight through a red light and a driver of a well done transport company also deeply engrossed in conversation.
I really cannot understand anyone using a handheld phone while driving, the dangers are well documented.
So what can we do about it. The campaign against  drink driving was such a success that it became a socially unacceptable activity. I have a few ideas to how this can be applied to the use of mobiles.

1. If you call a mobile always ask if the person is driving, if they are hang up.

2. If you receive a call from a mobile again ask if they are hands free, if not hand up.

3. If you a passenger and the driver is using a mobile demand they cease.

4. Spread the word about the dangers of mobile use.
