Bit of a downer

Long weekend this weekend but I have to say I have had better weekends. First the insurance company paid out but insist I was partly to blame so have only paid out 50%. This means the hire bike has to go back so I am without my own transport after Friday. I will of course have to get another bike but that takes time, and money. I have had a few problems with my ankle and a trip to the doctors seems to point to another operation. As you know I changed my shift and working longer hours. The idea was that we would have some spare cash to enjoy these long weekends. However things do not seem to have worked out and we still seem to have no spare cash after paying our bills. The result of this is I assume a period of depression which meant I have found it difficult to motivate myself to do any thing including church this morning. I am feeling a little better this evening but still feel very tired and find everything a struggle. I hope things will only get better from now.

Ankle Update

it has now been nearly a year since I returned to work after breaking my ankle. It has healed well and only minor pain which I would think is to be expected. However over the last few weeks it has begun to click and grind so I took a trip to the Doctors. They have referred me to our local hospital to have it x-rayed to see if anything has changed and if it is necessary to have any of the metal work taken out. Also after finally getting my scanner to work I have included a couple of pictures.

Web Cam

I have managed to get the web cam to work again but still have the problem with Dynamic Address. I have signed up to a DNS provider but as yet have not set it up. That means there may be times when the web cam link will return a 'website not found' report.
